New 30ft Trailer Towing Experience

Before deciding, or listening to folks talk about towing limits, learn every little detail about your rig, TV and TT/Fiver. Tires, axles, suspension, wheels, brakes... you may learn that your TV is rated at one way but in every important way (at least for towing) is exactly the same as a higher rated TV. I found that out with my 2012 2500 RAM. It's identical to the 3500 except for springs and tires/wheels. Same axles, same brakes, same chassis, same frame, same drive train... a few minor upgrades and you have a 3500 in everything but name.

All I'm saying is don't immediately jump on the OVERWEIGHT band wagon. It seems to be a near religion to some. :)
