Being new at this, you might want to consider which sub-forum you put your posts into in the future.
A refrigerator question doesn't fit too good in "Roads and routes"; having it in a better place might get you more/better answers....in general.
The YES answers are correct. The "standard" recommendation is that you shut it OFF while re-fueling, either the chassis fuel tank OR the propane.
