You have a significantly higher risk of electrical or gasoline/diesel fire than that of a fire/explosion from the LPG system. Fire (of any kind) is only involved in less than 10% of vehicle accidents, and propane ignition is implicated in less than 1/10 of 1% of THOSE. That translates into 1/100 of 1% (or a .0001 chance).
