Thanks guys and Gals,
I did decide to stick with the Suburban (It had one before) but went with the 35 BTU in place of the 30 it had before. After pulling out the old one I found an additional panel that had been removed (On top)causing the outtake to vent into the return intake, as well as a hose that was not completely attached to the furnace. this on top of the shape the components were in at the exterior access panel makes me glad I decided to replace it.
