Good luck on your new life. Don't let the naysayers above scare you. What you do in your after work life should be what makes you happy. While many are content to have nothing specific in life they must do, others like the idea of continuing to have some form of daily routine. And the great thing about being retired and doing a host position, if it does not work out you can hit the road for the next adventure.
