There are a number of frequent posters here who simply seem to live to denigrate and belittle the notions of others. It appears to be their retirement hobby. Pay no attention (and soon you will learn who they are).
We have been doing this fulltime thing for nearly 14 years. Have done our share of workamping along the way and have enjoyed all but one experience out of roughly 20. I retired at 49 and my wife at 46. Workamping less than 5 months/ year allowed us to not eat into savings and we have never done anything that we didn't enjoy. We haven't done it for nearly 2 years and are enjoying the fruits of our labors.
Remember that only YOU can decide what your time is worth and how you want to spend it. NO ONE else has a clue. Be well, Be happy. Enjoy whatever is left of this extraordinarily brief existence.
