New Porch Light Rule

Another reason I prefer some of the Oregon State Parks which tend to have large treed sites where neighbors behavior becomes less of a problem. I turn off my lights when I enter the rig for the night - I turn them back on if I need to exit the rig at night. I also don't play loud radio, have drunken parties, walk though campsites, or allow my dogs to **** without picking it up. Not complicated or hard to do.

I wonder if the people who light up the CG all night are the same ones who say they won't stay at Walmart overnight because of the bright lights? :B

Ha, week after the Fourth of July this year. Had a professional DJ in a nice brand new RV set up camp right next to us. He put out his professional DJ speakers and blasted music all day and had his bug zapper up all night. The amount of bugs in a lake in the mountains in the summer is incredible... I'm not sure what he intended to do, he couldn't kill all of them. He also had one of those laser light projectors bouncing off his camper.

And what's with having you trailer's running lights on all night?

Ah yes! Camping season is coming to an end......the offseason (for those of us up north) complaints are starting!

No,, been lucky so far. We did have a red and green laser light show next door once. It was pointed up into the trees. Thought about talking to the camp host about it but it was their laser. I guess they thought they were "cool". I'd say some pilots disagreed.

I much prefer to stick an automotive flasher in my trailer cord and make the clearances/side marker lights flash on/off.
And with my window shades pulled I don't even notice them

And here i thought the outside speakers was to alert everybody of the emergency broadcast system weekly test :S

The funny part of this complaint forum is that most of the people who do this, are not rver's. They are weekenders and do not even read or belong to any of these forums.

We run into them everywhere, most dont have a clue until you clue them in....

Kevin, so true simple respect common sense which many nowadays lack.
I have seen unsupervised kids (very young like less than 5) riding bikes and turning right in front of traffic on the parks main road. Some parents nowadays just seem that they want to be parents.

Well I am not sure why a weekender would be any different, but I think I get your drift. Its the way someone was brought up. We are essentially weekenders. Working every day sucks.

I was taught by my dad a bunch of things and A lot had to do with camping etiquette. I already have my 3 year old granddaughter, who was camping at 6 weeks, going around the campsite on the day we are leaving looking for any trash or debris. She does it automatically and thinks it's fun, at least for now. She's typically doing it also when we arrive getting the stuff left for us. I have not had her get up enough nerve to pick up a dog turd yet, but I'm working on it lol.

Had a woman last year in her 60's come walking through our site on her way to the bathhouse and made happy small talk while doing so. Later she came through a second time and the wife was kicking me under the table as she knew what was coming. Later that night she came again, right past the fire ring and I unloaded, told her I did not appreciate her coming through our site and invading our privacy. She said "well I never" and I responded thats pretty **** evident isnt it lol.
