- ScottGNomadIs it a short queen? If not, just buy a mattress anywhere.

I caved into my wife at least 10 years ago and bought her the SN. Later I had to admit to her my low back was much better on the SleepNumber! - Ron3rdExplorer III

We purchased a Spa Sensations cooling memory foam model from Walmart for about $200. It's FABULOUS! We had a Tempurpedic at home and when we had to replace it due to age, we purchased the Spa Sen at 1/10th the cost of the Tempurpedic. It lasted about 8 years and we purchased another just recently.
Sounds like a good option, will look into that one. - Ron3rdExplorer III

I gotta agree the Sleep Number is a great way to go due to the adjustability. Pricey though! - Pheonix87ExplorerI don't know what fit you need (size, you get it). But I recommend a mattress that either has a bamboo cover or one of its component layers is bamboo charcoal memory foam (there's quite a vast selection that can help you here https://popular.reviews/best-bamboo-mattresses/). It's much better when it comes to dust mite resistance and provides a hypoallergenic surface to sleep on. I turned to bamboo when it comes to my home bed and the bed in my RV for about 3 years now and I'm definitely not going back ever.
- cpaulsenExplorerOur last 2 5ver.....we use a Serta iComfort. One was a queen and now a king in current one.
