Speaking of Walmart, if you are traveling on I-24 today and were thinking of stopping in Manchester, Tn for an overnight, think again. The music festival, Bonnaroo, starts today and the parking lot is full of tents and other RV's as well as cars, vans, etc. waiting for their tome to enter the grounds. Every year our little town of approx. 80,000 doubles in size for about 6 days due to the festival. The festival is patterned off of Woodstock. Walmart is the gathering place before the gates open and they welcome them with open arms. Once on the 800 acre grounds things outside pretty much settles down. We live about a mile, as the crow flies, and we can hear sounds of the music being played. This year Paul McCartney is the headliner.
