New to RV,when traveling how do you know what areas to avoid

Not sure I follow my own train of thought, spoon. My post does seem kind of off the wall. (old hizmeres disease probably)

I guess my intention was this, I just think, one has better chance of being in a confrontation at a gas station, store, or getting into a beef over some minor thing, at a CG. Then they do driving through a "bad area" And practicing those steps to avoid deadly force, is a good thing.
