Back in the 80's Suburban's pulling medium length trailers was the "go to" rig for retired couples. The deficiency of these rigs was the distance from the rear tires to the hitch ball. If you have a 3/4T it's pretty capable. If you have a 1/2T it's a little iffy, but workable. Low air pressure (or a flat) on a rear tire can let things get out of control really quickly. So, highly suggest that you have new LT (light truck) tires at least on the rear axle and monitor the air pressure fairly often. Make sure the pressure rating of the tire rim exceeds the pressure of the tire. This rig will operate well at the aforementioned 62 mph. It makes a good rig if the rear tires of the Suburban are in good shape. Back in the day, I put in many miles with a 1/2T Suburban, 19' Prowler rig. I broke several springs on the Prowler due to a low rear tire going through some whoop-t-dos on I-20 south of Fort Worth.
