Actually nailed a few DUI's that way.
Maryland has a very weak law to that effect, but I have used it from time to time with great pleasure. I have certainly made many traffic stops and written or verbal warnings for it. Some people are just plain oblivious... they figure they pay their taxes so they can drive in whatever darn lane they want. Then they call police about "Aggressive drivers" that are tailgating and passing on the right... Hey ding dong, if you are getting passed on the right MOVE OVER TO THE RIGHT!
