If your apprehension is due to having to drill into the frame for the dc system, I would say don't worry about that. I was the same way with adding a second friction sway bar to mine, but there came a time when I was replacing the first one, and found a great deal on 2 of them. So one night I just did it right before a trip.
I too was nervous about drilling and a making a mistake, but if you just take your time and get some new sharp drills, it is easier than you think. The difference for me was great, as my next step was buying an entire new hitch and going to the DC system. This cost me much less of course. :)
