I will be different then almost every responder. I have the Reese SC with the 1200# bars. I really love it. It bolts to the trailer A frame with a 1/2" plate on each side of the frame tube bolted together with three bolts (can't remeber if the bolts were 1/2" or 5/8"). It is a very heavy duty hitch. My trailer, although on the light end for this hitch setup (minilite 2504S), pulls very very straight and stable.
The only down side is that to hook up the bars you have to jack the tongue of the trailer, when latched to the truck, so high up that the rear tires are almost off of the ground. And same to get the bars off again.
