New York State Thruway - overnight
I've heard you can do an overnight in the Thruway rest areas. Then I heard there is a four hour maximum stay. Anyone know for sure?

- Why bother? Locate a cg near where you need to layover and go there. Safer and more comfortable.
- They don't enforce it.
- Maximum stay is 4 hours.
- There is no for sure rule.
The 0nly written rule AFAIK is you cannot leave the rig unattended. As a practical matter I think on I90 you will have no trouble on I87 you may find tighter control
