I’ve been in many parks when someone rolled in late and / or left early. There were lots of complaints the next morning, probably half the time there was at least one person shouting at them to be quiet at the time.
In reality this scenario is no different than those who party late, let their dog bark or keep lights on all night with complete disregard to whose bedroom they may be shining in.
Camping is communal living. Somebody is going to do something that aggravates someone else. There is no getting around it. MOST people do their best to avoid disturbing others. Some issue like the lights and the partying can be controlled , but some can't like late arrivals because of unforeseen circumstances or early departures because someone has to make time or be somewhere at a particular time. But I digress. I choose to stay in campgrounds for the comforts they offer.
Well said. I belong to multiple internet camping forums, and this one is the only one where people gripe about what every other camper is doing. If something about camping irritates you so much, better to stay at camp driveway.
Yes the overall fickle-ness if that’s a word is astounding on this forum.
Maybe not astounding, that’s a strong word for it, but certainly entertaining.
But the hidden lesson in it is how NOT to act.
