Backing in the dark is no harder than in the daylight. But as a couple have mentioned, do a dry run and test your vision with your combination in the dark. My TT is a real PITA if it is real dark as the back up lights on the TV reflect off the front of the TT making it impossible to see any farther than the font with the mirrors. It is not a big problem if there is some other ambient light around but when it is pitch black it is difficult.

My last two 5ers have lights on the front. There's not much need for them. If I were designing a trailer I would put the lights on the rear, where they would be of better use.

I lay a string of rope lights along the drivers side of the pad as I want the tires very near that edge.

the LEDs don't draw much? so I might put some on rear corners front corners and middle sides and even front skirt. Sometimes we don't use them because the brightness is enough to disturb close neighbors. We don't leave them on.
A couple of floods into the wiring on the rear corners, into thee swith might not hurt either.

I saw a weather tight switch that had a LED in the button. Simply wire one to the right front corner and to relay and fuse at batteries and perhaps a timer. Get out when you first pull up hit the button on the Towable and back it up. After fifteen minutes have set to cut off.

Thanks to all who have responded.. I now have a set of rope lights to use "just in case"...BUT as for the pending getaway..I was able to change my back in spot to a pull through spot thanks to a cancellation. Entering a pull through after dark will be a breeze and expedite setting up and enjoying the evening..
