no discounts for oregonians with disabilities

I do not know why the state of oregon does not have a program for people with disibilities just to go camping many other states offer a way in what did oregon do to our goverment for them not to have something like that but if your a vet you can access discounts our rights are going slowly going away rights that our fore fathers made for us to be equal and to be free. your voting for those who are taking away our rights.
Thanks, AMERICA!!!!
  • Interesting first post...but, Welcome to the Forum.
This is a pet peeve of mine...my neighbor is 'disabled.' Collects various benefits, has a disabled parking pass, doesn't work and hasn't for a long time...
His disability...suffers from "stress and anxiety."

For Vets - yes, and for 'true' disability, there should be benefits like reduced camping rates, but there are, as with lots of things, abuses of the system.

I apologize. I'll leave the room and the moderator can delete my soap box post.

You seemed to answer your own question....

Should not everyone pay the same if you want us to be equal and free?

I do not have a problem for discounts for Vets since they gave up their rights (i.e. where to live and when to be deployed) to allow me to make my own choices.
  • Get one of the Access Passes for the National Parks, and go to them.
