Been at Vanderpool Campground Vilas, NC. for over a month. Very nice and quiet here. Park was full over Labor Day weekend. Amazingly quiet even with all the kids and dogs running around. Only complain was a neighbor. He'd get up in the morning. Start a campfire and go back into his trailer. Let it smoke all day. When we came back from hiking it would still be smoking. He'd start it up in the evening, go back into his trailer and let it smoke all night. Never sat outside and around it. Wasn't able to have our windows open thanks to him. Of course there were a few others who had to have campfires too at night. I don't like the smell of smoke in my home. But he and all the other pyromaniacs were gone on Monday and we have been able to have the windows open again. :B
