We stayed at Beachwood back in '04 and declared it a dump back then. As a non owner, every time we came back to the park, we had to wait in the check in line just to regain entrance. If there was a line of check in's we could wait 15 to 30 minutes.
The park did experience some serious monetary difficulties a few years ago so maintenance has been put on the back burner. We have a house in Birch Bay so we get the local gossip and from what is going around, Beechwood doesn't have the best reputation out there.
