Its not that folks are not friendly, but that it is very difficult to see the other driver, even if they do wave. I wave a lot, especially if we are on two lane roads where we can be seen. Get a lot of waves back too. Also, most of us drive with both hands on the wheel, especially when expecting a wind surge from the oncoming vehicle.
