I tend to eye up the RV's when passing by and skip right over the driver. Not intentionally being rude, but with that split second my eyes are drawn to the RV.
I also had a Jeep & motorcycle which both have the wave thing going. I think it's much easier to notice a wave when looking at a smaller vehicle.
