Nobody Here
I've never seen this part of the forum completely empty before. I guess everyone is in fine health. That's good! As for myself, I'm recovering from a stroke suffered 3 1/2 yrs ago. A very slow process...

A lot of us do but most work around the issues.
I suppose I'm one of those. I don't consider myself "disabled", but I did have a total right knee replacement on July 31 this year. I worked my keester off for 4 weeks so I could:
1) put on my own socks and tie my shoes again
2) drive an automobile
I met both those goals in 6 days!
Been working that leg and knee like there's no tomorrow ever since. In my 4th week after surgery, I was splitting firewood again. I mowed my yard 3 days after surgery. We went camping 1 week after surgery, 2 weeks after surgery, 3 weeks after surgery, and the 4th week after surgery. My wife and I both work from home, she is full time home, and I'm 50/50 home and in-office. So we made sure she had wifi and we went camping on long week-ends, between physical therapy sessions, and ... yes ... splitting that fire-wood.
Today... well ... put it this way ... night time is the time I feel the agony. Walking is magnificant!
I don't consider myself "disabled". I told my wife, if I were strapped in a wheel chair the rest of my life, I'd find a way to use my radial arm saw ... one way or another!
