O.K....I checked it out. I gotta tell ya, I'm not impressed. Guy's been at it for about four months, and looks like he intends to fund the whole shebang by getting folks to kick in just because...because....well, it's not clear to me exactly why he thinks folks will give him money, so-?

Frankly, there's more information about RVing in the average post here at RV.net than I found in any of the five or six videos of his I looked at.

I think my best-of-the-bad-favorite is this one, where he's "stealcamping" on a college campus. First he tells us how he's gonna get away with this (forbidden) activity, but then gets all nervous because his door is facing- gasp- the back of the property. He decides he'd better move somewhere on Campus with "better security", but before he does that "Security" actually shows up and tells him he can't live in his rig on Campus. Which he already knows, of course.

Next thing you know, he's in a Walmart parking lot showing us the brand spankin' new bike rack/bike combo he just bought.

I guess my question is:

WHAT, exactly, is the point that this fellow is trying to get across????

LOL. I find it entertaining. as for the money he only asked for it once to fund a solar project and ended up getting much more

Beats me, I watched part of one video and was bored silly. Just looks like a freeloader to me.

Back in the old days bums would knock on doors or approach people on the street and ask for a hand out. Now they use expensive cameras and computers to ask for a hand out on the internet. Maybe his parents find that cute but I do not.

I have been following him too. Can't figure out where he gets his money. I thought I had toys to play with.

what money? guy drives a beat up old rv and spend most time boon docking to avoid spending money. he may very well have some funds left over from his financial aid he mentioned. whole point of his videos is too show you can live in an rv at a much cheaper cost than in an apt. there is a video where he discusses the cost between the two

Yes I know he is making it on little funds, but he just bought an RC Car. I would have filled the gas tanks and the refrigerator. My DW doesn't like boon docking so it would never work for us.

I like his videos and hope he carries on for awhile yet.In comparison to the long,long road videos he has something different to offer.
As well he strikes a chord with me on being able to live and cope inexpensively but not poor.Boondocking is trying to be free from the "shore"connections of electric,water,drain line,cable,etc.He takes and leaves it as best he can in an urban environment.
He position on camperized vans vs class c motorhomes made me appreciate more my move to a larger rig as I was modifying my van and had a "b"for a while.
Finally,I live in PNW area and he related how it is in the winter in an RV ,something I plan to do.
