I found that with a simple plug-in inverter I can use my Krupp's electric coffee grinder. From there I simply boil the prescribed amount of water in a small pot, after boiling I add the ground coffee, let steep for 5 minutes and then pour it through my coffee pot filter to remove the grounds. I'm a coffee snob and I think I get pretty good coffee making it this way. BTW, at altitude, say 4-5,000 feet, I throw the grounds in the boiling water. The altitude lowers the boiling point making it just the right temperature for steeping the coffee grounds (at sea level the water would be too hot to do this and give you coffee that was slightly bitter).
