Instead they whine about how "draconian" a 5% cut will be. How many people have had to suck up more than a 5% cut in their personal finances in the last six years because of job losses, reduced returns on retirement investments, etc? Washington bureaucrats need to suck it up, join the rest of us in the real world and start doing their jobs.
Several agency officials publicly complained they could easily manage the sequester by re-allocating funding and personnel, but were told by senior officials in DC to 'make it hurt'.
