I had a buddy one time that had a 1964 International pickup truck. The door latches were never very good on those . Once I was riding along as he was turning a corner to the left at the only stoplight in town. As the force pushed me toward the door it popped open and he had to quickly reach over and grab me by the shirt to keep me from falling out in the middle of the road. To this day whenever I ride with him after getting into whatever vehicle he owns I push on the door after closing it to make sure it's really shut tight.
