Had a buddy one time that owned a 1972 Chevy Nova. Nice car. In those days you could buy chrome rims that were "Universal" they had slotted lug nut holes in them so that they would fit several different types of cars and then they sold you special washers to use up the extra room. (It was as bad of a idea as it sounds) We were going around a corner one time and he said, "What was that I saw a shiny piece fall off of my car". Just as he got done saying that the front wheel fell off and we skidded to a stop. Didn't hurt the car any though. We just has to jack it up and put the spare on. He got rid of those universal chrome wheels and got some normal chrome wheels after that. I think he ended up spending the money on some good Cragars.
