Odd things that Happen when on the Road

This is not "on the road," but it was on a vacation trip to Alaska.
We have taken exactly 2 cruises in our lives. What are the odds that on the second cruise, you will have another couple that was on the first cruise?
If by some wild chance that another couple on the second cruise WAS on the first cruise, considering how many people are on a cruise liner, what are the odds that you will sit at the dinner table with THAT couple?
That happened to us. On our second cruise (the cruise to Alaska), we were at the dining table with another couple that we had never met before. Somehow, the conversation turned to who had experienced the WORST cruise, so we all started describing our worst cruises. Our first cruise was abominable. It was so bad that they cancelled all of the stage shows and put barf bags and Meclizine on tables by the elevators.
Our descriptions sounded SO similar, that we finally asked what ship were they on and what was the date of sailing. They had been on that same cruise.
