Odd things that Happen when on the Road
Last Fall we were heading south on I295 through Portland Maine. Moderate traffic moving along at 60 mph or so. Out of the corner of my eye I see a Sea Gull carrying what looked like a good size Quahog...

While in Yellowstone in 2011, we drove up on a herd of those in the road. A small Class B was in front, and one of the bison was nose to nose with the Class B just daring it to move. It was a true Mexican standoff until a ranger (a little 5 foot nothing girl who would have to be soaking wet to weigh 100#) drove up. She waded into the herd and pushed the challenging bison away from the Class B's hood. When that bison finally moved off from the road, the rest of the herd followed. Funniest thing I ever saw was that little ranger pushing that big bison.
