Odd things that Happen when on the Road

Driving to work on the freeway one morning behind a pick up, obviously a landscaper, and happen to notice his green yard waste trash can just kind of blowing around a bit in the bed. I had this funny feeling it was going to blow out, so I went ahead and moved over a lane. Sure enough, not a minute later as I am still behind him but one lane over, I watch the can lift itself on up over the tailgate and land perfectly standing upright on the road right behind him where it just slid along for a couple of hundred yards before coming to a stop still standing upright smack dab in the middle of the center lane.
Cross country trip after college we stopped at a gas station in the middle of New Mexico. We had come from Roswell and were going to visit smoky the bears grave site but it was closed. So we got gas and were hanging out by the Jeeps looking at the map to decide the best route to our planned next stop when this old lady in a nice classic Jaguar pulls in. Between us and her is this big old Ram ranch truck with a huge cattle guard front bumper on it. Young chick driving the ram comes out, and as she is backing sideswipes the Jag bad. Massive dent and damage. Ram driver hauls ass out of the lot. Old lady Jag owner comes out hitting an atomizer. Store clerk calls the cops. We stayed to give a statement and description. As we are talking to the cop, the same Ram comes back thru the parking lot and drops some trash in a can and peels out again! Cop chased her down. Old lady gave us a Benjamin for our time which we tried repeatedly to refuse but she insisted so we treated ourselves to a steak dinner that night.

Coming back from a day of wheeling at carrol canyon we were driving back to San Diego on 8 west out by Alpine. Saw a car going the other way wander off the side of the road and right up a massive embankment on the side of the road. Car flipped about 4 times and landed on its roof. Buddy and I turned the Jeeps around across the center divide and went to help. He called 911 while I helped her get out of the car. Turns out she fell asleep at the wheel.
Oddly enough the next one was also on our way back from a day wheeling at the same place, only this one happened a bit further back at the border patrol checkpoint. As we drove by they had a sedan pulled in for inspection. They had just opened the trunk and two dudes heads popped up out of the trunk!
