Odd things that Happen when on the Road
Last Fall we were heading south on I295 through Portland Maine. Moderate traffic moving along at 60 mph or so. Out of the corner of my eye I see a Sea Gull carrying what looked like a good size Quahog...

Another one, this one more recent being just about 2 years ago.
Driving on a 2 lane US highway in northern Minnesota. Pickup truck a good distance ahead of me has an aluminum stock tank in the bed, not tied down. Wind is flopping it around a lot. Then a big gust picks up the stock tank and flips it end over end as it goes high above the pickup and comes flying (literally flying). I slow down and move into oncoming traffic lane as the stock tank zooms past on my right.
