Last spring I poured myself an afternoon drink of Wild Turkey bourbon. I walked around the trailer I was staring at a wild turkey.
Pulled into campsite no 47 in Yellowstone and there were 40 elk already there with a giant herd bull right where I was supposed to put my rig.
I was late to a meeting with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe up by Fort Hall in Idaho. I was driving a dirt road in the bottom of a canyon and came around a corner to see 4,000 sheep being driven by a wagon, a couple guys on horse back and bunch of dogs. They were wall to wall and it took about 15-20 minutes for them to pass.
Two years ago I was on a fall fishing trip with my brother. One morning we went into town for breakfast. On the road back to the lake at about 0900 a mountain lion crossed right in front of my truck.
