I still use Streets and Trips 2010 for planning. I suspect that Microsoft stopped making new versions because buyers don't NEED a new version every year. But so far, I haven't run into any state that's eliminated an expressway. For more detail at my destinations, I supplement with paper maps at gas stations as I enter each state, and/or call the CG for detailed directions. I have a TRACFONE for that task, but I pull over before using it. Unlike many of today's teenagers, I'm incapable of giving the proper attention to driving and talking on the phone at the same time.
