I sympathize with you. DH & I are much younger than you *58* but we had to make the difficult decision to permanently park the TT and sell the truck last year, due to his poor health. It was very painful and we have really missed being able to travel and camp in different places. But I have to say, it has been much, MUCH easier on him to just toss clothes, meds, and oxygen in the Prius and drive 2 hours to the mountains where our TT is parked. We pull in, hook up the water and electricity, and voila! We're camping. It's so much easier on him that we are actually camping MORE than we were before.
Maybe you can do something similar. No matter. However it turns out, I hope you have many more years with your bride.
