Know just how you feel. Age caught up to us well before we planned for it to - started summer before last. I am 74 and my wife is 70.
This is the first winter we have been someplace cold in 12 years.
Sure lucky we bought a house two and a half years ago. Didn't plan to use it for more than a month or so in the spring and a couple of months in the fall but had to spend all last summer and the summer before last in it. Did south to AZ for last winter and then spent all summer here and stayed for the winter.
Had a ball though for those 11 years of full timing and one year of snow birding.
