prayers for a speedy recovery... I would be tempted to take a marker and write NO IODINE.. ALLERGIES on my leg, just above or below where they will make incision. I wouldn't take "just a little iodine". I have a friend whose shellfish allergies keep getting worse as she ages.. ten years ago, she just couldn't eat the shellfish, now if she even breathes in the steam from a passing plate of seafood she will have a reaction. don't let the doc get by with such an excuse.. NO IODINE should mean NO IODINE.
