Sorry you're gonna have to get the new knee. I hear that it's pretty painful at first, but later it's a lot better than it is now. I had knee arthroscopy in Feb and I'm still hobbling around. My friend had TKR the same time and she's practically running circles around me. I asked my ortho why; he said it's because she got all new parts and I still have all the old parts. Ugh. I see a TKR in my future...
