oil film on a/c filter, what could be causing this?
I cleaned my filter on my a/c unit, and it had a oil film on it, have a roof a/c on my Itasca, 2006 motorhome. a/c works fine, any suggestions would be appreciated. Tom

Don't know how oil from the refrigerant could get on the supply filter. A refrigerant leak of any size will quickly empty your system and quit cooling.
