You can get aluminum diamond plate as thin as 24 ga (actually 0.025"), which weighs less than 12 lbs for a 4x8 sheet.

I wish I stuck around and got to talk to the person. I would have love to known what, if anything he uses to beef upt eh suspension and take a gander at the inside. I am sure it would be just as "amazing" as the outside.

If that's actually diamond plate that things got to be no end of heavy. Don't think an F350 going to do it for any length of time.
Seems like there would be lots of on-going damage (small and large)
due to weight issues.
