Old Forge or adjacent reccomendations

Question

Hi all!&nbsp; My family and I expect to get our 1st camper (a thor Dazzle motor coach) this weekend and then take it out shortly after.&nbsp; We are thinking of Old Forge for 3 nights/2 days with our kids (8 and 3).&nbsp; I have done a fair amount of camping, but never in an RV so this is new (I am a MN wilderness canoe camp guy historically).&nbsp; Is the old forge site a good bet?&nbsp; Better places near by ( we are coming from the oneonta area, and would like to approach the adirondacks).&nbsp; Could also head west towards the finger lakes i suppose- appreciate any tips to get us started!

Wow, 4 in a Class B, that's going to be a tight fit!

If by staying at Old Forge you mean Old Forge Camping Resort, yes, it's a good place to stay. Being a wilderness guy, you'll probably hate it but your kids will love the fact that the Water Safari park and Calypso Cove are right next door.
