I feel the same way now in my 60s, as I did back in my 40s, but it seems to be even more prevalent nowadays. There have always been that segment of the population that seem to be oblivious to others around them, it's all about THEM. And this seems to be getting worse, not just in the camping/RV world, but in general. There's a disconnect that many people have, from simple etiquette and common courtesy. One could cite a variety of reasons for the cause of this, but to what point? Unfortunately, I think it will only get worse as our society changes, and that's a real shame.
