I'll be 70 a few days after New Years 2016, so I can join the grumpy crowd, but I refuse to. I'm a single RVer. I stay exclusively in FHU CGs, usually KOAs. They're expensive, but it tends to keep the weekend partiers out. You don't need the amenities if you're just there to get drunk.
When I'm parked for an overnight, I relax a bit inside and go to bed. If I'm there for several days, I'm usually gone during each day seeing what or who I came to see. When I get back, I go inside.
I've had to run kids off exactly once in all the years. They were sitting at my CG supplied picnic table. That's where I drank my coffee and read my CG supplied newspaper. I asked them nicely to use their own picnic table and they did.
If there's no picnic table, I get one of my lawn chairs out and drink my coffee. If I'm feeling talkative, I set out two chairs. You're welcome to join me if you'd like. I've met some nice folks that way.
At one CG in Canada, the folks with their chairs and coffee started showing up, and before we knew it, there were 10 or 15 of us. That was a lot of fun.
