Olympian wave catalytic heaters
Has anyone ever tested the amount of carbon monoxide these heaters give off? I used one for years in an old travel trailer when I was younger without any issues of course had Windows cracked for fresh...

i've used one for years, in two different RV's
and but a new wave 8000btu in this one in 2014
it sets in the kitchen with a window cracked open and the kitchen ceiling vent cracked open
the platinum cat and the wave
are both Catalytic heaters both use a platinum coated mat 'oxidation surface'
the difference is the plat cat has an external vent tube,
IDK if thats exhaust or fresh air for the heating process
Wave used to be Olympic before Camco bought the brand and changed the name
thats why you will the reference to OLY Cat in some posts
