- NC_HaulerExplorerWell, let's see, though not very news worthy, in August of 1970, I had just turned 20 and the wife had just turned 18 when we got married on August 8th, 1970....Had a pop-up camper that we spent our honeymoon in at a campground in WVa..(didn't have the money to visti 50 states, but we both had jobs:))........now 44 years later we're still enjoying our camping together....
yep, nowhere as news worthy as the OP's, but the wife and I still talk about that Honeymoon we had together for a week in a pop-up a little over 44 yrs ago.....( hope the newly-wed's marriage last that long:) - MrWizardModeratorDang Gary..When I saw the topic I thought you got married
Nice story though..thanks - BobboExplorer IIIAbout 2 years after getting our RV, we were in an "RV Resort" overnight. While sitting in lawn chairs enjoying the evening, a Class B pulled in about 2 spots away.
A young couple, in their 20's, jumped out and ran around setting up. About 10 or 15 minutes after getting back in, their RV started rocking. DW was the one who noticed and pointed it out to me when she started laughing. - garyhauptExplorer
