Good for you. No reason you can't camp. Met a one legged man last winter in Texas. He had a beautiful FW and managed normally as far as I could tell. Things might go a little slower at first but I'm sure you can adjust.

I can't believe you are out and about after only 1 month post amputation. When I lost my fingers on one hand due to an accident, I was 1 month under heavy pain meds, and then many months still experiencing phantom pains. I was very much incapacitated for many months, let alone learning to function in a finger-less world. I still experience phantom issues, the primary one being an uncontrollable urge to scratch my fingernails on the missing fingers because they itch. Who ever heard of fingernails itching?
