Seen plenty of them, Class 3 by DOT definitions, on the HiLux compact truck.Still available globally, we stopped getting them when Toyota had to start building a truck in the US for US market only because of the chicken tax. Decided the HD versions wouldn't sell enough here to be worth making.
Truck capacity doesn't have much to do with engine size or even cab size. Much of the worlds goods moves around in 20-ton trucks with engines 2.5 liters or smaller, at speeds under 80 kph.
