One way glass for door??
Thinking of replacing glass in door so we can see who's knocking!

- There is a restaurant close by that has one way glass over the urinals, while standing doing your business your watch people in the lobby.

All one-way glass works the same way. It is a film that is placed on the glass that works off the intensity of the light on each side. As long as the intensity of the light on one side is greater than the other side, you can see through from the other side. The type of film will determine the amount of difference required between each side.
The side that is the brightest will not be able to see through the glass which is why they work best during the daytime and not so much in the evening when you have dark outside and interior lights on.
