So, have any of you done business with RV Parts Overstock? I fear I may have made a big mistake. They had the lowest price for something I needed, and I ordered it from them a couple days ago. When the receipt came to my e-mail I saw that it had the wrong delivery address. Evidently their website auto-fill function somehow pulled in my work address rather than my home address. Now I am discovering that there is NO PHONE NUMBER to contact them. I e-mailed two days ago at their contact e-mail address but have not received a response. I'm getting worried. -Speak

Do NOT buy on line, Camping World or order from a dealership!.Find a local RV parts store. Do a Google search you will be amazed how many are close to you that you didn't even know about!Cheaper price, faster delivery and a real human being behind the counter that owns the place and that actually cares when you get your part and you talk to them face to face.I use local RV parts stores exclusively for anything RV. Everything I have had to order, which isn't much because they have MOST of what you need in stock on site, I have always gotten the next day.These small RV parts stores get deliveries every day so it's nothing to throw your part on that truck for next day delivery and no extra charge.

Another opinion, DONT buy from CW - service is the benchmark for terrible! You'll pay more than anyplace else, including small mom and pop RV stores. I would go to the smaller stores before CW though just because of their service.Buy from Amazon or FleaBay.Or ANYBODY else.

I like to support the local guy but many times he is double on line pricing and there are many on line "Great" vendors. Camping World is good to stroll aisles and pick up something here or there but again pricing can be a issue unless on sale. I've purchased from a half dozen or more online outlets for RV parts and have not been disapointed yet. Only problem was once I needed a commercial address for a large item, a RV refrigerator, that was tailgate delivery only. Former employer helped me with that. Your problen was your auto fill which gave incorect address gotta keep and eye on that.We're fulltime, I have 15 or more delivery address's on amazon alone. There are only two that I use regularly and neither are my billing address.

Check the prices at CW for worst case price. Then go shopping on line. Amazon, eBay, etc. are your friend. If you have the correct part #, no sticks and bricks dealership will be able to come close. Only exception is if your panties are in an extreme wad and you need the part immediately, then buy from a local source or CW. But chances are they will have to order the part. Probably a week delivery time. Amazon prime 2 day delivery. How do I know? Been there done that.

If the item gets shipped and they send you a tracking number for either UPS or FEDX you can go online to UPS or FEDX web site and change the destination address.

It was all about price. $193 (including shipping) compared to $227 at the next-cheapest place.

Bought a ton of rv parts online, but never heard of them. I wouldn't worry. Give them till Monday afternoon to get back to you. If worse comes to worse, dispute with your CC after the charge goes through, but, I would give them the benefit of the doubt.

I have never ordered from any company that doesn't have a separate billing/ shipping info area. Maybe you just missed it?

not everybody can provide instant gratification and 2 day shipping like Amazon
it probably has not shipped yet

most likely you will get some kind of shipping notice, when the pkg does ship

Ah. Excellent question. I am only working part time now, and the work that I do is generally done off-site. So I would have to drive a half hour to get there to check on its delivery. And this place I ordered from hasn't provided any sort of shipping information such as a tracking number or anything like that.

I'll try to be patient and hope we can get this straightened out Monday. It just makes me nervous to have no contact phone number.

I got no experience with them, but I find that many sites, probably the one in question included, has a check to remove if you want the item shipped to another address other than the billing address. I bet you failed to uncheck that box which would have opened a new window for ship to.

I have to ask what will be so bad if they ship the item to your work? You will be there, right?

So you emailed two days ago and you are worried you have no response! By my calendar, there is a Saturday and now Sunday in those 2 days. I doubt they are open on those days!
