Take a close look at the tire to make sure it is very round and flat across the tread. MAXXIS are good but not perfect. I have had tread separation.
Also check the springs have a nice arch to them. Mine were flat and sagging bad enough at one point to throw the alignment off.
Thanks will do, i have my 5th wheel at a storage place so next time i go out will look over everything like that too. - Take a close look at the tire to make sure it is very round and flat across the tread. MAXXIS are good but not perfect. I have had tread separation.

If you find absolutely nothing you can swap the tire to another position or get a new tire. If it repeats you are probably looking at a new axle. - 83trekkerExplorerWhen i get back out to my trailer i will look over the axle and shackles, thanks
- RCMAN46ExplorerI had the same problem once with only one tire wearing.
This is what I found causing the excessive wear.
Several years ago while going from Flagstaff to Albuquerque I had an axle collapse. It was replaced by Lippert but it was due to some very bad chuck holes that I could not miss due to the size of the chuck holes a very heavy truck traffic. - 83trekkerExplorerI have maxxis tires and they have been amazing up to this point.
- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerYes it can. A lose bearing can camber the wheel.
I've seen junk tires do this also.
